29.6.2009 Welcome to Finland Streamside's Major - Miko

We went claim for Egons half-sister's son Miko in Stockholm. The former owner of Laila brought Miko in Stockholm and Miko joined the travel with us. Mikos tail wagged all time and he looking flying gulls outside to ship. Miko is happy and playful young male who are living with Jarno and Piia and they bitches :)

5.6.2009 G-litter born

Jessica and Hugo's puppies were born Thursday to Friday night. Outdoors was a hard summer storm and we were without electricity and a total of 22 hours. The same time my telephone didn't work, so it was just like old times. Storm outside will not interfere with Jessica and the candle light was born on 4 males and 5 females. All puppies were actually strong and aware of what the milk will be:)). Brisk  wonderful puppies <3

2.6.2009 In Moemoriam - Streamside's Quest For Challenge "Egon"

This day came sooner than anyone knew to expect. Egon became ill less than a week ago, surprisingly, a fever and went powerless. As soon we going to veterinarian. Vet try found something what's going on, him the lungs, heart and abdomen were described and the defect was not found. Similarly, the basic blood tests were normal, but found a wider number of platelets have fallen to 40, when they should be more than 200 Alternative choices were immune mediated hemolytic anemia or bone marrow recession, when the platelets are not produced. Cortisone would help the first case, at least momentarily, bone marrow problems can not be improved. Two to three days would be an improvement, but not ... We wanted the best, and wait, but it was only worse, as a new symptom came nose bleeding. We talk with vet and we agreed to let pain to Egon, he probably suffered bone marrow cancer. Egon 7.2.2000 - 2.6.2009 It is not what we seem, and it does not achieve what we get, is no parallel to it what we are second to each other. Thank you to family Harr and Egons breeder Wenche Farstadt that you give him to us!

Coco Hit's Flaming Boy "Topi" finished him FIN CH title for style! He was BM-1 and BOB! Congratulations to owners Maija & Riku!   First Coco Hit's veteran was started in shows. Coco Hit's All D'Amore "Emma" was BOB-veteran and BB-4! Congratulations!        Tino (Sisustars Just A Jewel) was second in working class with exellent. Tino's son Anthony "Aatu" was BOB-puppy! 9.5.2009 Tracking test and new champions

FIN FT CH Coco Hit's Cici D'Amour was tracking test and she got 1st prize with 48-points in open class. Good luck to winner class! Coco Hit's Brown Chocolate got second time full of 50points in winner class! Wow, good boy!    In same tracking test Egon's son Fin FT CH Quadmir's Divine Nefertum "Paavo" got 1st prize in winner class and now he are FIN Tracking Champion too! Congratulations to Jouni & Taina! Same day was Lapua group show. Hugo's daughter Moundhill's Crystal Shine "Risse" finished her FIN CH title, she was BOB! Congratulations to kennel Moundhill's!

We travel to Lappeenranta with Maija and Topi, Mailis and Tino waiting in hotel. Our sweet princess Nuka get water tail, so I didn't show her in the ring. She have totally princess time, sleeping and have fun time at hotel with two guys :)) Coco Hit' Flaming Boy "Topi" was BM-3 with res-CC. Sisustars Just A Jewel "Tino" get very good. ...Nuka at home...

Coco Hit's Born To Be Wild "Jimi" 30.7.2001 - 9.4.2009 Now was time let go to Jimi to dogs heaven, he had bladder tumors, now you don't have pain. Bon voyage Jimi!

We make trip in Tampere International show with Coco Hit's Flaming Boy "Topi". Topi was 2nd in open class with exellent.

11.3.2009 New puppy plans - dream come true :)

Recent events caused me to think that the therm by one year or two Jessica-Hugo litters. Litter had already been thinking ever since Jessica has come to us, now property ponder that what if either something  happens, as soon dream is realized. So now is the time to give the opportunity to dream :))

30.1.2009 Goodbye darling Moona

Moona 5.7.1998 - 30.1.2009 It was time for hard desicions, to send you to the angels company. Now you can follow them, without any pain. Sorrow is enormous, but I know - you'll be all well for now on.   Luckily we got an appointment to eye-specialist today. The right eye was completely blind and insensible, so they couldnt do anything to help that. Also the pressure of the left eye was growing up and the forecast was not good. With medicines they could have slow down a bit for Glacoma’s developing, but this disease is painfull to the dog, so it was all clear desicion to let Moona go. You can’t let someone who you love, to be under pain. The sorrow is enourmos and grating, but at least we know, that our grandma will sleep peacefully without any pain now.

28.1.2009

Moona’s right eye changed to bigger and strange looking. Otherwise “grandma” was happy and typical herself, she didn't look painful at all. The nearest eye-special vet was over 150 kilometers away, but I got time to Suvi Heinola at Jyväskylä. They checked the eye-pressure and in the right eye it was 42-44, left was 20-21. Moona got medicine and luckily it slowed the pressure down. We got eye-drops at home, and we try to get an appointment to the eye-specialist as soon as possible.
